My journey with Alezia Bloom LAB began 11 years ago, in 2014 with a deep passion for the alchemy of skincare, a fascination with formulating serums and creams that truly nurture the skin. This passion led me to become in 2017 a licensed cosmetologist and formulator, grounding my craft in both art and science.

I am endlessly inspired by the synergy between innovative ingredients and the timeless power of plants. I am constantly researching, testing, and exploring new formulas, believing that the most effective skincare is found at the intersection of nature and modern discovery.

My first collection launched in 2015, byCodru Collection, is deeply personal, inspired by my origins in Transylvania. It took shape after a summer immersed in the rich mountains and forests of Romania, where I researched authentic local botanicals. My mission was to study their effects and carefully incorporate their benefits into a simple and very efficient botanical cosmetic line. Like all my collections, byCodru continues to be meticulously crafted in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, the place where it was born.

My love for the art of formulation evolved beyond skincare into the world of scent and essences. My time studying perfumery in Grasse, in the South of France, unlocked a new chapter: crafting bespoke, niche fragrances. This passion now extends to hosting immersive workshops, where I guide individuals and small groups through the intimate and creative process of designing their own personalised perfume.

Today, I continue this journey from my lab in Southern Spain, where the vibrant light, the Mediterranean sea, and the local flora offer a fresh and boundless source of inspiration for new creations.
